Bruce Summerhays Sr.- Chairman & Chief Designer
Bruce Sr. is in charge of the design of all golf courses produced by Summerhays
Design and he also consults on the management of the properties to ensure lasting
quality of golf and club experience.  Bruce is a thirteen-year veteran and three-time
champion on the Champions Tour.  He is a graduate of the University of Utah, former
head professional at Wasatch Mountain Golf Course (1980-92), and Director of Golf
at The Homestead Resort (1992-1994) before joining the Champions Tour.  Bruce’s
Design projects include The Homestead Resort in Midway, Sun Hills Golf Club and
Kokopelli Golf Club, Copper Rock Golf Club.


Cory Roberts- Chief Executive Officer
Cory heads up the operations wing of Summerhays Design and is also in charge of the
day to day operation of the business including existing clubs and courses under
construction.  He helps clubs create and maintain an experience that will satisfy
members and guests while overseeing overall club operations at each club under
management.  Cory also creates the legal membership documents and Bylaws that
govern each club managed by SD.  Cory graduated
magna cum laude in International
Relations and Business from Brigham Young University and is in the process of
obtaining his Juris Doctorate from The University of Texas School of Law with a
focus in Real Estate Development and Business Law

Bruce Summerhays Jr.-  Design Associate & Chief Operations Officer
Bruce Jr. is in charge of the marketing, membership and customer relations area of the
golf club management wing of Summerhays Design.  He helps all clubs under
management to set up and run an effective golf shop staff, membership program, and  
member relations.  He also is in charge of continuing education and training of the golf
shop and membership staffs at each club with the latest in industry technology.  Bruce
attended the University of Utah and has worked in the Real Estate business as well as
the golf business as a Director of Golf.  

Riley Stottern- Construction Project Manager & Head Agronomist
Riley served on the Golf Course Superintendent's Association of America Board of
Directors from 1981-1988, and served as President in 1986.  Stottern is currently a
member of the USGA Greens Sections Committee.  Riley is a past president of several
local Golf Course Superintendent Chapters.  Riley has been the Head Superintendent of
six distinguished golf course in the past forty years: Oakridge Country Club
(Farmington, UT), Desert Inn Hotel and Country Club (Las Vegas, NV), Jeremy
Ranch Golf Club (Park City, UT), Shadow Creek Golf Club (Las Vegas, NV), Players
Island Golf Club (Mesquite, NV), and Southern Highlands Golf Club (Las Vegas,
NV).  Riley has also worked in the area of course construction with Arnold Palmer,
Tom Fazio, Robert Trent Jones Sr, and Robert Trent Jones Jr.
